Necro help
I am currently playing this team http://bbloc.calgarygamers.net/index.ph ... obj_id=144 with limited success, and will be playing this monster of a 7th season team on Friday http://bbloc.calgarygamers.net/index.ph ... &obj_id=44. any suggestions on what to take for inducements?
I am thinking 900k in inducements. Wizard, Chef, and then it gets a little fuzzy. Chainsaw? Bribes? Igor?

Re: Necro help
if i were you, i would go with 15 players (star player chainsaw + setehk + 2 zomb mercenaries) + wizards + chef and i would pray to win the toss
(or if no chef: setekh + wilhelm + wizard + 2 zombies dirty + 1 zomb with no skill => 16 players...)

900k Inducements, how about Ramtut, the Count and a wizard? The stars come with block/wrestle and high strength to help you counter his strength advantage (you're not going to be dodging your whole team away from him).

Re: Necro help
He only has 11 players so your focus should be on trying to win the war of attrition.
Yes he has some killing machines, but you only need some well placed fouls to even the score.
Too bad you took MB on the Golem and not block or guard.
I think something like Ramtut, wizard, DP merc zombie, Merc Zombie and some bribes might be a good choice. I'm sure he'd going to be worried about that PO guy if you can keep a DP zombie in the area!
I wouldn't bother with the chef though. On the average you will steal 1.5 RRs each half, which means the inducement is only worth 195k: 1.5*(Necro RR price+Chaos RR price)

Re: Necro help
How in the name of Richard did you get roped into a 900k under match?!
The Count and Ramtut are great... gaze into his heart and rip it from his breast! And never underestimate Break Tackle with Wrestle on Ramtut... the one time I played far enough down to induce him, it was the BT-W combo that won me the game....

Re: Necro help
He put his team into the "fun" league for testing new teams between formal seasons. The only saving grace is he plays super cautious and cages in the backfield. I am honestly playing for a tie, but still may win if I can scare him by getting a CAS or heavy foulingDigger Goreman wrote:How in the name of Richard did you get roped into a 900k under match?!

I answered the question with the likely inducements for my next match as I'm about to face 2640k of dark elves as a 900k underdog, the penalty for getting promoted with a team still developing.Digger Goreman wrote:How in the name of Richard did you get roped into a 900k under match?!

I do fancy the count/ramtut combo. With the reach of the wolves the wizard is good value too.

880k of inducements: I second Ramtut + Count Luthor (770k), + an extra reroll (two aren't enough imo)

Re: Necro help
Against that mega team and you only lost one zed to a niggling injury AND only lost by one td.... I am impressed!

thank you sirDigger Goreman wrote:Against that mega team and you only lost one zed to a niggling injury AND only lost by one td.... I am impressed!

other than buying another re-roll when I have the gold, what should I be focusing on for skills? TD's with the WW or Wights? Trying to injure with the WW's/Wights?

Re: Necro help
Get block on the WW as soon as possible, with any means. Frenzy without block is a rr magnet.DixonCider wrote:thank you sirDigger Goreman wrote:Against that mega team and you only lost one zed to a niggling injury AND only lost by one td.... I am impressed!

Then you can skill up the other guys (well, usually I get the wolves to 16spp before feeding td to the Wights. But that's me...)

Re: Necro help
here is the team after two games, win and a tie. Leading league in CAS and overall points(I know it is only two games in, but the small victories are the best)
http://bbloc.calgarygamers.net/index.ph ... obj_id=144
and here is an update on where they are at for paint

noticing the zombies look a little like Thriller dancers and I am not sure if this is a good thing or not
