I rather like the style of these guys, but why do companies keep refusing to put more than two blitzers in a human team box? Has anyone ever run a human team without all four blitzers?

I don't think many people do, I use 4B,2C,1T,5L(B-Blitz, C-Catch, T-Thrower, L-Linos).

On the Mieko Facebook they said late September 2 more blitzers, 2 Catchers and 1 thrower will be released to fill out the team.

Overall (apart from the size), they look decent, sturdy. I like that.

I think the human team that GW produced had all the positionals in it. It definitely had four blitzers.

Hm, I must admit, they`re not really my taste. They look a lot like the older GW human team cast of metal and just can`t compete with GW`s latest human team (oooh....never thought I`d say something like that...).

So, I`d rather see a team in the latest humanteam style and in the proper size.

Otherwise compliments to the painter, I think he got a lot out of the team.

I really want a whole human team in the style of these minis (below: I don't know who these belong to, random web search images), or something similar. I haven't yet seen a whole human team that I like the look of, which sucks because they are my favourite team on the field.

I know the minis, just not who did those versions of them (ie - painting). I have both of them, but there is very little else that really goes with them to make a team. The proportions are different from most on the market (smaller heads, thinner limbs) and the gear is a little less chunky, if not pretty close to modern gridiron uniforms with shoulder plates instead of pads. I'm not a big fan of the GW human team and I don't want a 'themed' human team either. Slim pickings I'm afraid (pun intended).

Interesting comparing them to the 2nd ed guys. (I am amused to see some of the old poses!)

But yes, size. I think these style of 'bigger' teams works well for the 40mm boards some guys use, but on the card board? Still I guess it is similar to 2nd ed on astrogranite!

And my, what small waists they have...

MEIKO HUMANS - COMPARISON SIZE



As you can see on the picture, the Meiko Humans are little bit taller than the Gaspez Norses, but thinner. The wist and the body of the Norse Gaspez are wider than the Meiko Human wist and body.
