Need Help Picking a Tier 1 Team for a very small league.

I am playing in a small league with 2 other players running 2 teams each 1 tier team and 1 other team from other tiers. one player is wanting to run lizardmen & vamps and the other player is going to run skaven and halflings because of halfling chef. I am thinking of running the underworld as my low tier team but i need help picking my tier 1 team that can handle the bash from lizards and vamps and the speed of skaven. I cant be either of the dwarf teams or wood elves. I was thinking humans or undead or high elves or pro elves but will take advice for any other choices!!!

Dark Elves? You can dodge away from the Lizards and Vamps but hit the skinks and thralls pretty hard.

Amazones. Really good for small leagues. All starting dodge. Not much block in de league.

Good value for money.

It has to be Dark Elves. They have versatility and with an AG4 can throw and catch as well. Lizards are slow developers, DEs will win the league no problem.

Depends on how many games are going to get played. Without know that, I'd say Undead is probably your best bet, with Orcs a close second. They both can handle both Lizards and Skaven at any TV value.

If the league is going to be short (say, <10 games), Amazons would be really strong. If it's going to be a longer league (>=10 games), I'd not do Amazons.

Any elves (or skaven) own halflings and vamps at low TVs.

Orcs and Undead are always solid.

But I think I'd go Chaos Dwarves, lots of tackle to beat on the skinks, 'flings and grunners and a bit of strength to counteract the Sauri. Against the vamps you would probably form a looser cage than normal and score quicker than you might want, but that is quite doable with the bulls.

Undead or Necros... Feed zeds to the bruisers and use ghouls/wolves to hunt skinks....

Orcs or Humans, depending on which opposing coach is better. Humans are just awesome vs. Skaven, but not so great against Lizardmen. Orcs are great against Lizardmen, not so hot against Skaven.

Orcs have no chance vs Lizardmen. Unless the lizzies have a really bad coach I guess.
Amazons are obviously the best at winning but boring as hell.
Undead are pretty good and pretty fun.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I was having hard time trying to decide dark elves or humans. with the help of the last couple comments it looks like the humans may be best choice.
