I completely disagree with this statement, I find that the tv differential of up to 400k is fine unless using a rookie team where I feel that the 200k is about the limit. Upwards of the 400k skills on players will have far more effect that the limits of inducement options most of the time but even then it is dependent on the opposing teams make up. Ignoring teams that have wasted tv on silly things some squads get to a tv of 1800ish due to a vast number of stat increases before they have enough skills to make them competitive at that level. Undead teams IMO start to reach a downward increase in effectiveness versus TV gain at around 1900 unless they have a decent spread of bonus stats, while Necromantic teams start getting 'good' around 1800 and are far better comparatively at high tv matched environments.Digger Goreman wrote:Rarely does one overcome 200k difference, especially against a mini-maxed team like undead... unless timmy-teaming, i.e., dwelves....
Some teams, Wood Elves/Pro Elves/Skaven for example are at there best when 250ish tv below there opponents as this allows them a wizard and a bonus Apoth which when combined with there high speed and ability to pull off some expert ball moving plays will often make all the difference. On the other hand in a bash v bash match up say Orcs V Dwarfs then that 250k is more telling especially if all that extra tv is in actual skills (say 11 normal and 1 double)
Anyway just my pennies worth.
