That's one ogre and one "gremlin" each parked next to a sexy female just like in Hot Rod magazine. Nice ogre and "gremlin." :)

Sorry but it just looks a bit amateur. There are fingerprints visible, never mind anything else. They look cheap. I prefer stuff that looks good for a reasonable price over stuff that looks cheap.

Not for me.

It IS done by an amateur :) These are models I've sculpted for Impact! miniatures targeted program.
I'm just happy that they have such a generous offer avaliable for amateur sculptors. It's a way to be create and share the products of your creativity instead of just having your own unique team that no one else is able to enjoy.
I had a real blast sculpting the minis, and I hope that loads of people will enjoy fielding them.
As a new sculptor I'm improving all the time and hopefully I'll be able to make some even better sculpts in the future.

I think they look good gimpen. (I am no expert sculptor though). I really like my impact gnomes also and those were also sculpted by an "amateur". However, I use my gnomes as ogres, so I probably won't be needing these guys for blood bowl, but I might could thing of another use for them if they come in different package types, like just snotty gremlins.

Keep up the good work and glad to see impact getting back to more new blood bowl type sculpts.

Kalle sculpted 10 of them ... but only 7 could be cast. The other 3 just were in poses that because they crossed mutiple planes could not be cast as single piece models. So originally the team was supposed to have 10 different sculpts ... now it has 7 different sculpts with only 3 that have more than 1.

As Kalle pointed out ... he is an amateur sculptor. When he originally designed these figures is was for his own use and he was not thinking about having them cast. His league mates (many which came over this year from Sweden for the Chaos Cup in Chicago) insisted that he have them cast up by us in our Targeted program like he had his Super Punch Troll. Personally I think they have a lot of character and remind me a lot of the 2nd edition Ogres. And $45 for a full set of 6 Ogres and 10 Imps is about 3 times less expensive than an fantasy football Ogre team from any other company right now.

When we do the KickStarter ... the 1st Stretch Goal will be to have a Trollcast mould made for Phigs Imps and then you can choose your Imps set to go with Kalle's 6 Ogres. You can choose to either have a set of 10 of Kalle's Imps or 10 of Phigs' Imps (which only have 4 poses but have been very popular over the years).

Based on the email from KickStarter ... we should get approval to launch it sometime next week.

Tom
