bizzy - you need to be aware of 2 chracteristics of "non-killer" Nurgle. This is that (a) they skill up relatively slowly, and (b) their TV is on the high side compared to most (but not all) teams. Why does this matter? Well, in the first place, Nurgle do not like Wizards at all, so keeping TV lean is important for them. Secondly, it means that every skill needs to be chosen according to a precise and powerful plan (otherwise you just create TV bloat, gifting inducements to your opponent, especially the Wizard).bizzydog217 wrote:I always seemed to overlook Nurgle. They are interesting with their anti-pass/get hit Foul Appearance and Disturbing Presence. Having a lineman with decay isn't horrible either being that they can all learn mutations. Nurgle seems to be a slower more unreliable version of Chaos but with players like the Warriors and Pestigors they do have some reliability. Non-Killer Nurgle is interesting because they wouldn't be using a great deal of CLMBPO combo as opposed to other things to trip up opponents like tentacles while giving Rotters something like big hand, multiple arms etc. Interesting concept there.
Rotters are "endearing" players, but because of Decay, I have found that they do not live long. I favour "plain vanilla" development for them, simple skills that prolong their short but happy lives, such as Block, Fend, Foul Appearance. Bear in mind that the Pestigors (or at least one of them) are the better ball handlers (higher MA, Horns for blitziing, and having Regen instead of Decay means that they retain skills).
All the best.
