So GW is done supporting models, I take it????
Just went on the GW site to look up some models and looks like their selling out their inventory.... how long has that been going on? Where can you get those models now, if you wanted... besides eBay

Been 6 months or so. There seemed to be a bit of a fire sale, with some of the less common teams selling out in weeks. Its the case with all Specialist Games ranges sadly.
I have heard that 2014 will see 100% plastic output from GW.
2nd hand on ebay is probably your only option for GW teams, although there's a raft of alternatives from other manufacturers.

thanks, so are they going to recast the teams in plastic and sell them in 2014? or are they just done?
Regardless, there are a lot of great alternatives out there- but was just looking for some originals... actually, much of the alternative stuff is far superior to the GW stuff.

As it stands, they seem to be done. Tritex, ebay, etc are your friend now.

AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Rat Farts!!!! Sorry....... just needed to vent my frustration, so many figs that I put off on buying and now I'm going to have to scrounge and overpay (most likely) for all of them. The nice thing is that there are some AWESOME alternate mini's being produced, but why aren't any of them produced states-side?? Anyone have some suggestions for saving on the shipping? Sucks to pay $80+ for a team and then another $20 or so for shipping.... Oh, well what can you do.

Talk to Impact Miniatures (stateside) and try Monny's Mortuary and Tritex Miniatures in Britain.... Goblin Forge Miniatures in France keeps their postage remarkably low....

Create a login for the Impact! Miniatures website and set the currency to USD.tommy316 wrote:Anyone have some suggestions for saving on the shipping?
If you do that your shipping will only be a flat $4.50 no matter what you order. Free if you order $150 or more.

I have committed to Willy to carry 100% of his stuff in 2014. I already placed an order with him before the end of 2013 to get some of every figure he is currently selling to stores. At this time he is not selling the Halfling teams to stores. When he does ... we'll get some.tommy316 wrote:Cool!! Done!! If I remember correctly Impact will only be selling Impact, Greebo, and Willy miniatures. The other lines, like GA are selling out, then they are gone from the site.

I just ordered the Undead Elf from Willy last week.Digger Goreman wrote:The undead elf, Tom?![]()

We had to consolidate and then will look at branching back out.
First up full stock Willy. Then I work on Greebo. After that I will try to carry other miniatures from other companies that I need more exposure. Gaspez would definitely be on that list. Black Army as well.
I had some personal health issues last year that put me in and out of the hospital for 5 months and drained all my extra funds so we had to trim out the store for non-Impact! items. I hope to fix this back during 2014 as much as possible.
