I look forward to the day you paint something... less "lively"....
Thanks Digger, what do you mean by the "less lively team"?
(Sorry for multiple posts - haven't worked out how to quote two people in one reply on Tapatalk)
LOL... sorry bout that, outcasttex... I AM a champion of the Undead Teams after all.... I would love to see such great talent turned to the living challenged... i.e., painting Necros, Undead, Khemri and Vampires....
Indeed, those fleshtones on a female thrall could be interesting....
(and there is the fact I don't like the inherent advantages of ag4 and/or spam skill teams... such as zons)

LOL - I see what you mean now! Well, I have been trying out Khemri on FUMBBL and been getting a bit of a taste for them so who knows what may make it onto the painting table next?

And before that goes off-topic, start a thread of it's own if you want to discuss that with Digger.
On-topic - very nice. They were on my "to buy" list, but after my awful performance with them at the weekend not sure I want to play 'zons ever again...

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Bad workman blaming...........
The models are better than the photos suggest, crisp & clean, a pleasure to play against, cannot wait to see the whole team finished!
robsoma wrote:Nice paint job. Not sure if it's just the pictures I've seen, but the detail on these doesn't seem very sharp? What's your experience with the mini in hand?
My answer to this rob. The details of the figure are nice clean and sharp. The faces are more subtle than others on the market. All the details are easily made out (lips, nose and eyes) but the sculpting lines are not as deep on them as you might find them on other figures. Depending on how you paint this might be a bit more tricky. I've had a lot of really good feedback from customers about the team ... the only negative comments I've received are normally from less experienced painters who found the faces more difficult to paint then they had normally experienced. The figures are all one piece except for 2 of the Blitzers who have separate hands so we've had favorable feedback on that 14 of the models are one piece.
So I post this in the interest of full disclosure ... I'd had 96% favorable emails from customers ... the 4% that posted concerns did so about their ability to paint the faces the way they wanted to.
Hope that helps answer your questions on how sharp the detail is.
