Re: Skycastle Titans
I missed this the first time around. I love the skin tone you have going there.

Re: Skycastle Titans
Another snotling to be sacrificed on the pitch. After painting the guy I removed all heads that looked alike, since I had the feeling it was way to big for a snot, but hell, what`s done is done!

I`m terrible with green stuff, but I think this guy turned out pretty good compared to my original idea. Wahtcha think?

Re: Skycastle Titans
Even though I use goblinsized Grots for snotlings, THIS is the ONLY real acceptable size for an ogre snotling. Wish there would be more so characterful and tiny minis out there.

And here`s a size comparison:

Well, four down four more to go for the starting roster.

`Ere we go!
Haven`t realized it, until he was painted, but the helmet turned out to look much like those of the 2nd Ed. Skaventeam. I might get me some of those to have the option playing an Underworld team.

Re: Skycastle Titans
Thanks guys! It`s a real relief to paint miniatures one by one. That way I just don`t see so many unfinished stuff in front of me, since with time one or another always gets done completely. I`ve got five Snotlings and a Starplayer (the guy on the left is supposed to be Grotty) done so far. Must admit, I was quite suprised how many Greenskin-minis belong into a halfway working Ogre-team. Eight Snotlings for starters, Bomber Dribblesnot (which is a great Inducement after losing a couple of Snots), a Snotling-coach and probably a cheerleader are gonna round up the green half of the team. Oh Jeezus....just realized I`ve got to paint NINE OGRES afterwards...
Anyway, this is how the team looks so far:

I'm really enjoying watching this team come together. Your snots are perfect, full of character, and painted well.
Painting one at a time can be really enjoyable. It is slower, but takes away that assembly line feel to painting.
You may have convinced me to do this with my 'flings.

Re: Skycastle Titans
Not to discourage you, but I'd paint at least 10 snotlings, maybe 12. You want 16 players if you can, and only rarely can you induce a starplayer (15 man team with 4 rerolls and an apo costs 1350, and that's without any skills), so that's 6 Ogres and 10 Snotlings. No. 11 and 12 are needed because, if you do the sensible thing and start with 4 Ogres so you can have 4 rerolls, your first purchases should be apo, snotlings 9 - 12, replace any fallen snotlings (or Ogres!DinoTitanedition wrote: Must admit, I was quite suprised how many Greenskin-minis belong into a halfway working Ogre-team.
