A little question arose during our last game.
Foul Appearance states that you must roll 2+ before any block or action replacing a Block. Are Stab, Chainsaw, Ball & Chain and fouling all affected by this skill? Am I forgetting any?

Re: Foul Appearance
Ball and Chain only takes Move actions, and the free blocks (remember, the damn Block action vs block "whatever") it performs are immune to Fould Appearance. It says it clearly in the text.

Re: Foul Appearance
And fouling does not replace a block.
So the leaves only block / blitz , chainsaw and stab, to my understanding

Foul Appearance (Mutation)
The player’s appearance is so horrible that any opposing player that wants to block the player (or use a special attack that takes the place of a block) must first roll a D6 and score 2 or more. If the opposing player rolls a 1 he is too revolted to make the block and it is wasted (though the opposing team does not suffer a turnover).

Re: Foul Appearance
Huh, I thought FA also worked on fouls too.
Did I just make that up or was it in an earlier LRB?

I think you made it up, at least I don't remember it ever being in the rules.Dzerards wrote:Huh, I thought FA also worked on fouls too.

I think it would make a good change though (says the Nurgle coach).
All the best.

I think I was getting the text of Nurgle's Rot and Foul Appearance mixed up!

Re: Foul Appearance
Surely Foul Appearance should effect Fouling? Are you more comfortable with dropping the "People's Elbow" on the Beast of Nurgle just because it is lying down? I don't think so!
OTOH, maybe Foul Appearance causes the player to Appear to be a Good Target for a Foul!
