Looks great!
How did you do the mud? Is it just a light brown paint?

Yeah, nice, but as suggested, the gore is a bit off. Try Tamiya Transparent Red, shinny and darker like blood. Or mix gloss varnish with transparent dark red (red + brown washes, inks, etc).

Thanks.MattDakka wrote:Nice job!
The blood stains on the pitch look good, but personally I would darken slightly that bright red, it seems a bit fake.
I would love to play on your pitch!
I agree about the blood. My paint was all dried up and I bought some Blood Red. I will mix in some darker shades in the future.

Nope. It's sand. I painted some PVA glue all over the areas I wanted to cover and threw some sand (GW I believe) over it. Done!Olaf the Stout wrote:Looks great!

After I'm doe I will cover the whole board with some kind of dull transparent spray coat and then pick out the blood with some gloss varnish. Other wise I'm afraid the grass and paint will wear off.

Hmm this might be a tad late, but I've heard that if you sprapy varnish static grass it will settle in dewy drops. That might not be what you want. Sorry for necro-threading
