Upper body streamers will be a separate piece for casting purposes.Darkson wrote:Not keen on the ridiculous streamers, but as long as they're easy to remove it's all good.

Re: Impact! Elves
I don't mind the streamers, as they do lend dynamism to the sculpt. I like the flying uppercut pose and the claw-dusters. Heck, I'm even on board with the MC Hammer trousers.
But why does he have hair armour? No shoes, no shirt, massive dreadlock defences. Odd.
Just to be clear: Overall, two thumbs up!

Yes ... you know how long it takes to get an Elf's hair perfect ... you'd protect it too.Vanguard wrote:He's an elf! It's all about priorities.Hucker73 wrote:But why does he have hair armour? No shoes, no shirt, massive dreadlock defences. Odd.

I agree with these 2 parts 100%.ChenZhen wrote:... I really like the "fantasy races infootball gear" style teams. ..
I appreciate the fact these look like fantasy athletes and not hyper sexualized bikini models
It's surprising how few teams there are out there that actually look like both athletes whilst still fitting within the Bloodbowl universe. There's far too many teams out there that look like they belong on a stag do, either due to wearing costumes that have no practical use in Bloodbowl or posing as if they are about to accept $5 bills from the aforementioned stag do.
It's kind of depressing that the old 2nd edition or even 3rd edition sculpts from GW are still the best looking models for quite a few teams.

Re: Impact! Elves
The sculptor has just finished work on some more of the miniatures for the Impact! Elves - ready for printing! Here's the finished Thrower, my favourite as he was the first concept that was drawn and formed the basis for the rest of the team.

Re: Impact! Elves
That means if I'm at the Starscraper level and I order an elf team I would get two sets of the star players, right?
