what glue type? impact! trollforge

Post by bound for glory »

what type of glue works best with the impact! trollcast resin/plastic? i have the impact! sarcos(which are awsome) and i've used gorilla glue super glue and the "gell" type crazy glue, and they have both been a PIA! it takes forever to hold the peices togeather.

Everybody always says to wash your minis before gluing or painting, and I often don't, but with Trollforge you really truly have to. The mold release stuff on them is potent.

Also, I heard that roughing up the surfaces before gluing helps, and it seemed to make a difference for me.

Then, just use some kind of gel superglue.

I use liquid superglue with Zip Kicker. Assembled hundreds of Trollcast models that way.

And yeah ... the figures really do need a good wash with dishsoap and toothbrush scrub before working with them to assure maximum ease of use.
