Comixininos ships to the UK. Good service as well, I've ordered a lot from them.

Alternatively, check the GW website after 7:00pm on Friday. Nurgle are getting some love in the form of a new unit type, and very tasty they look as well.
5 per box, big and chunky, they come on 40mm WFB bases but should fit on 30mm rounds no problem.

they looked based on 40x40mm bases...
they would be too big for bloodbowl standards field...

I don't think the new GW plastics would be that much bigger than Franarcilla's metals, and while $11 a mini is a little steep for plastic, the "kit-bash-ability" of the various bits and pieces is very interesting...

that said, I already have the Franarcilla minis and a mountain of unpainted stuff, so I'll pass...

probably..

They are on 40mm bases, but they LOOK lost on an oversized base.

Yes if you put them on 40mm square bases they will be too big.
But they are no bigger than the plastic Nurgle lord, and will fit onto 30mm round bases with ease. This makes them a good option for ST4 warriors of Nurgle in BB, not least because I like to show strength with base size where a team has multiple strength stats.
20mm=ST1 or 2, 25mm=ST3, 30mm=ST4, 40mm=ST5 or above.

They are considerably smaller than the plastic ogres, which fit nicely onto 30mm bases due to the closed stance.

And the price for one box is a decent one. The price for army building would be a killer.
I like GW miniatures and buy them for that reason. Price doesn't factor in, not when I'm looking at a BB teams worth of models, because I know the exact cost and that the team won't be expanding beyond a certain point.

So that gives Nurgle warriors, Rotters (Plaguebearers) and Beast (I want to use a blight fly).
Only beastmen to go. I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Interesting, I went plague bearers for pestigors, as they are horned, with various random zombie/ghoul/mutant for rotters...
Will scratch build a beast out of a blob of greenstuff.
Still not sure on warriors despite this thread.

Not that keen on them, but then Nurgle has always been my least favourite chaos power.

Nurgle actually is my favoriteChaos force and I have a Nurgle WHFB army as well as a Nurgle 40k army.

What I do not have is a Nurgle bloodbowl team. I think that is something I should fix.

My Nurgle team are all GW minis. Lots of conversions, part swaps, kit-bashing and green stuff.

Rotters:
Plaguebearers with horns removed. Wearing Forgeworld Nurgle marine shoulder pads attached with jewellers chain.

Pestigors:
Beastmen with Kroot shoulder pads, some plasticard armour and a few WHFB Chaos Forsaken and Nurgle spares (tentacles, Plaguebearer arms etc)

Warriors:
Chaos Forsaken with some Plaguebearer arms, Crypt Ghoul hands, a black Orc arm and shoulder pad.

Beast:
Body is a Plague Drone with Giants hands. The back was shaved down and painted with a cracked earth textured paint (GW technical). Scratch built green stuff tentacles.

The new GW Blight Kings will make nice Nurgle themed Ogres for an Ogre team. I just need to get some plastic Nurglings for Snotlings!

Not so sure about that. Once they are free of the horrible oversized base, you get this:

Posted on the DakkaDakka forum, so you can see the size is smaller than a GW ogre. I have the feeling it would enter even on a 25 mm. base, perhaps feet overlapping it a bit.

For me, perfect for St. 4. And considering the box has 105 pieces, you get enough tentacles, claws and gross stuff to convert the rest of the team.

I wonder if, having 5 miniatures, you can create a beast from this guy, using tentacled arms and adding some tentacles

don't forget once the weapons are snipped a lot of the "overhang" will be resolved and they will seem smaller.

I agree, these are perfect for St4.. :smoking:

Ulvardar,

Thanks for posting those pics. I had no idea they were so much smaller than the Ogres.

Definite rethink for me on that front.

I'm really happy with the Nurgle Warriors I have but these would fit that role perfectly.

I have a box of the new Nurgle guys and they fit 30mm bases fine. I think they look suitably strength 4, smaller than ogres.
