I had a look around at Back 2 Base. Very cool stuff over there! I reckon you were talking about the Battle Frame 5000. Would have certainly saved some time... so, next time I make sure to check them out first.
Also, their Magnetic Flying Stand opens interessting possibilities for Impacts! flying Ogre...

Alas, the Thunder Field (actually looking for something catchier...) is complete. I do need to go to bed now, so just a quick and not very good picture. I will post better ones tomorrow.

Thank you very much for your input and your ideas!!!

By the way, lesson learned from this project: always, ALWAYS double check on everything you do! Or you do end up using the wrong paint and have a hell of a time fixing it..

Yes, that's the one. I found it good to work with, although a touch expensive. The only real issue I have is that the magnets need to be welded in or something because they keep pulling out.

Your field looks the business though, well done!

Thank you very much!

Since I consider myself not to be the single most talented craftsman alive, I think I did quite alright. I am sorry I didn't get around to taking some better pictures yesterday. I will try again tonight. But between work and actually grabbing the field for a league match last night, I haven't had the time.

Having this brand new field though put some extra motivation into my Boyz and they send those Dark Elves home 2:1. :D

So, to close of this thread, I present to you the final pitch. Thanks again for the input and the fine ideas!

And should anyone happen to have a good idea for a proper stadium name, please let me know
