Curious - what size mummies?

So mine is 62 and 5 foot 8. The ones in blood bowl though are quite variable. As they aren't a big guy as such their depiction has varied and as their strength doesn't come from being, well, big there are no clues there.

So was just curious how you like to see yours or your opponents mummified players.

I like to see the old style of smaller beast, but the trend seems to be for bigger and bigger ones. Perhaps to remind people they are strength 5?

As you said, their strength doesn't come from their size, but from 'magic' of some kind...

I voted human-sized, but could live with them being half a head taller than the other guys. I wouldn't want them smaller.

The ogre/giant-sized minis that show up these days are just ridiculous in my opinion. I really dislike them

I believe Mummies are supposed to be human-sized or maybe a little taller. That being said, I have used Willy's 'mummies' in one of my khemri teams since they are supposed to represent Tomb Guardian 'Constructs'.

Pretty sure, though, today's trend will drown out the human-sized mummies soon.

Mummies are ST5...therefore should be mounted on a 40mm base and fill it. DOWN WITH YOUR PUNY STOCK!

I like big mummies, big human big or ogre big. I like to think that it is a mummified massive warrior endowed with mummy magic strength. I have GW mummies now but would like to get big ones some time.

Would prefer them to be bigger than humans but not Ogre big.
So probably along the lines of they should be able to fit on a regular size base, and not need anything bigger to comfortably fit on.

I´m using the original GW mummies and although I like the hole team I´d also like them to be a wee bit bigger then the rest. But only to make it easier to recognize them. Well, have to paint them differently I guess.

I find the bandages are a dead give away...

On being a mummified Ogre or other big warrior, well possibly, though they were never originally envisioned as such. Would a mummified Ogre lose bonehead or gain really stupid? Then again they have had their brains removed via their nose.

Definitely not big guy sized (and I prefer 'smaller' 2nd ed big guys anyways). But bigger than human sized for sure. The official 3rd edition Mummys are the biggest models on the team without doubt.

I have to go for bigger than human. Fluff-wise they are indeed mummified humans, so should be the same size or smaller. However, on the board, I like to see S5 (and S4 for that matter) guys stand out. Gameplay trumps fluff for me.

My personal preference is for human sized.

As long as they're easily identifiable during the game, I don't mind what size people use.

(Disappointed how HUUUUUUUUUUUGE the vortice mummys are. Looks like I'm only going to be buying their wights, ghouls, zombies and one wolf for star player purposes. Such a hard life I lead...)
