Those possessed should work fine. I always liked the kit, and add some old WHFB plague bearer heads for flavor.

I looked through my bit boxes and came up with

6 old plague bearers (weapons snipped) for rotters
Beast Face beastmen for Pestigors
4 Empire Teutonic Guard for Warriors. I have to admit they don't really look ST4 but I like the armour design so much and I like the idea of near bald headed grey bearded old men as Warriors of Nurgle so I will use them for now until I find something more suitable

For Beast I use the Hell Dorado Greater Damned One of Gluttony

well I have no bloody willpower whatsoever.. saw a mail from SpikyBitz this morning that they have 25% off all GW stock for the rest of the month and just picked these bad boys up...

I fully expect to have them converted and primed as soon as I have them, then to let them gather dust on my shelf as I am too intimidated to pick up a brush...

gawd I hate being so impulsive..

received them today, started working on them immediately...

scale is perfect for 25mm bases on 3 out of 5. one overhangs slightly, but I used a 25mm base anyway. The other (the champ) has a wider stance and needs a 30mm base - as I could see me using him (it?) as a BON, I'm fine with that... I immediately looked out all the grossest components to use on him.. :puke:

lots of great armour/pestilence/arm/head options, but be warned, some heads/arms only work on certain bodies, so it's more limiting than you expect at first... I'm doing some minor GS work to allow the heads I want to fit on any body I like, but for people not into putty, they might find it a little restrictive...

will try to get some WIP pics up over the weekend if anyone cares..

@Norse: please do post pics. Despite having 6 teams (or is it 7?) to be painted, the new Blight Knights are definitely tempting for a Nurgle team. Combined with GW Beastmen and one of the new Maggoths BON should make an impressive team!

well the putty isn't dry yet and I probably have some mold lines still to shave off, but here's a pic FOR SCALE PURPOSES ONLY!!

I've included some Franarcilla nurgle, a GW mummy and an Impact Sarcos as reference points...

all minis are on 25mm bases except the Nurgle champion (BON proxy) on the far left, who is on a 30mm base

so, yeah, they are definitely about as big as I would want to go on a 25mm base.. next to a 2nd ed Skaven they will look ridiculous for instance...

however, I have no regrets about buying them and can't wait to get some paint on them.. I'm sure they will look fine on a BB pitch for St4 and I assure you they come with oodles of foul appearance options...

That looks great. I feared they would be even bigger. If we compare to the franarscilla beastman they are perfect in size. I think I have to upgrade my Nurgle team with 4 of these guys, so my opponents can keep track of the warriors and I dont have to feel lika a cheat each time they "oh was that a warrior? didnt see that as they are the same size as the beastmen and rotters..." (that is a real problem with the franarscilla team). Maybe I make a whole new team when Im on it, we will see.

Norse: some close ups please, let us see the beauties in all their splendour.
