This is how I picture Zara: A big Roller Derby kind of girl. Because she's a ST4 player, I feel she should be big. I aim to make her head the same size as a 28 mm , but make her taller and more athletic.

I don't know if this is special enough for people to want a mini, and I'll still do explorations on the other top voted players. All of the details in the sketch depend on how well I can actually sculpt :) however, I will do my best to have the two extra stakes attached on the back of her belt. I'm not sure about the pose yet.. it looks powerful enough, but pretty static.. not necessarily a bad thing.

Fullback might be the american football position to look for when searching for poses. They are like runningbacks but heavier and slower. This is one.

Sign me up for four of this model, please. In fact I'd like to see a whole team of these.

Hmm.. interesting. And even though that guy has the ball, fullbacks seldomly are ballcarriers? Idunno, Zara just seems like a killer/sweeper kind of player. Also I like the GW convention of marking thrower minis with the ball as the only ones.

Oh, and thanks for the props Shteve0! :) however, I don't think I have it in me to sculpt an entire team, so thats why I'm starting with just one star player ;) Also I have no idea how close I can get to the sketch when modelling.

BTW I think I just figured out Crazy Igor: Think Renfield from "Bram Stokers Dracula" - crazy.

http://youtu.be/wfba1-gO-Gc?t=1m39s

stick Rasputin in a broken straightjacket, slap on some sparse armor and you've got what I see in Crazy Igor... sketches comin'

I'm totally with Galak on this viewtopic.php?f=23&t=37653

huge difference between AN igor and THE Crazy Igor

I was more thinking about his low stance.

Yeah I like his pose.. just without a ball and a stake in each hand instead :)

So heres Igor.. if the straightjacket isn't good enough of a read or proves too difficult to make, I'll give him a set of those insane asylum leather manacles instead. OR just have his hands inside the sleeves of the jacket.. Not strapped, so he can still tackle and hold a ball :) Let me know what you think.. is this a kind of Crazy Igor you'd want? And somehow Rosebark snuck in her head as well :D

Second sketch would be more appropriate for a single-cast. I like the bare feet, harder to sculpt though. J-bone what do you think?

I will respectfully disagree : the traditional hunchback or Marty Feldman, or nothing for me....
