One of the things I love the most about this game/hobby is the endless conversion possibilities.
From simple repositioning of parts, to the full scale convert like your thrower, they all give each mini (or team) an "unique" look, and that's a lot more fun to play with and against!

Congrats for a great and inspiring tutorial!
Cheers,
A.

I'm sure you could, it only needs some patience and some practice

Absolutely fantastic - 100% what I think BB players should look like (not a fan of giant spikes of sword like punch daggers) and a loverly size too, well still slightly bigger than the best of 2nd ed, but what can you do :)

What I am surprised at is next to nothing of the free company man survives bar a bit of leg and face. Why use them? As a standard core for your teams? Because you find them the most posable? Just curious.

First of all thank you for your comment.

I used a free company man because that way I haven't to worry about proportions or anything and is faster to do than making a model from scratch. The pose of the free company men are not better than the ones from other plastic humans, but they do have more variety.

In my human team I used a mix of different plastic human miniatures from WFB, not only free company man: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=38318
