Thank you so much! Those new pics look amazing and they'll be a HUGE help and inspiration to me when I attempt mine! I'm going to try to use more blue turquoise colors for the clothing and do bone / gold for the pads. I'd love to do non-metallic gold but I have no idea how to pull it off. Wish me luck and THANK YOU AGAIN!axia wrote:new pics added in the first topic! For the skin I post here the file that I've used as a guide for the skin, it's an awesome document and tutorial!

Maybe this one can help!

If I can suggest, go with turqoise nmm plates with bleached bone robes, should fit well!

Re: Willy Miniatures Amazon FINAL BOXART PICS!
Thanks Axia!
I thought I'd post a WIP photo (I need to get better at lighting). I went a little too heavy on the highlights. Also, I'm worried there aren't enough colors on the model (it's predominantly blue and gold). Should I try to add some additional colors? Any ideas for where? Base is still WIP.
p.s. I know this is nowhere near the talent level of the artwork photos, I wanted to post something to show how much you've inspired me to paint this figs! The links on lighting were really helpful. I'm going to need a lot more practice (and thinning of my paints) before I improve!

youìve answered by yourself!
More more thinning, better to improve this before moving to better highlights. If you want to change that predominance of blue try with a lighter skin tone, maybe a gw foundation skin mixed with beige and paint it in some thin layers it will help a lot!
