Plastic Kits For Dark Elf Renegade Conversion?

Post by J_Bone »

i'm currently working on a Chaos Pact team and was planning on using a 2nd edition elf Blitzer as my dark elf renegade. I have used modern plastic kits for the marauders though and now the scale of the elf looks way too small... I have been browsing for good kits to make one up but can't seem to figure out what would be best.

The picture below is the kind of look I would be going after... Any ideas what I might be able to pick up to make up a similar elf player?

Dark eldar kabalite warriors or dark eldar wyches are perfect for this.

Wyches are more lively and 'jumpy', although you get nice female torso, warriors have a more steady look.

Helmet and torso in your pic come from dark elf cold one knights, but warriors have cool helmets you can use.

Both kits have nice backpacks that you can left on or shave, as you prefer.

I used a mix of 40k warriors and Wyches along with WHFB corsairs and cold one riders for my DEs. They fit together pretty well. The blitzers are painted up - they have cloaks, so not to everyone's tastes, but do a search for Dark Matter and you'll find them hiding in my DungeonBowl team!
