All I can say is you had better be absolutely awful at actually playing the game, or life just isn't fair! Awesome work :)

I very much do like the result, but I am not at all a good painter.
This is clearly not a beginners guide (something I would need... again, and again, and again...). But for someone with a medium level of painting experience, this might actually be quite useful in terms of mixing ratio and paintlayer build up.

Thank you! What do you think should be useful for beginners? Maybe I can do another one!

Hm, I am not sure, if you would need to do a beginners guide. There are a fair amount of good beginners guides out there. I personally just am too lazy to work through them properly in order to get my skills up...
I also think, I lack some fundamental skills. So here is, what I (very personally) would find handy in a tutorial like yours:

- state what brush you used for each step
- how do you highlight (apparently you are not dry brushing)?
- how do you shade (no use of inks here either, right?)?
- how do mix your colours (palette or pot)?

So, that was just of the top of my head on ideas for beginners. If you are already know what you are doing though, I think your tutorial was fine.

awsome paint work. really tops.
that said, the figures(the lively ones) are idiotic and unuseable in the game...

well, the first guy in the last panel is a bitch to play with.. how do you lay him on his belly? he takes up half another square.. practicality also weighs into my miniature judgements. Beatiful paint job.

On the contrary, I find them very refreshing and representative of my girlfriend's playstyle when she uses them. They are truly inspiring ! Though I understand how they probably are not conventional enough for the most conservative players (most of whom date back from the 2nd edition of the game)... But then, no one said they had to buy the team.

Those dynamic postures will attract younger players... New blood to stir up the old one is never a bad thing.

oh, i'm all for action packed figures, but when your playing a game that has figures being laid face down, over and over agian, some of these are a little harder to place without using up more squares, as it were...
also, they may cause confussion as to if they are "down or on thier back. just my opinion...

now I understand! But why markers can't be used for stunned status? Placing your minis face down isn't good for the painting!
