I'd have gone for the 3rd reroll over the apoth as well. With a FF that high, you can probably afford the apoth after your first game.
BTW, I'm assuming you're using the U.S. win loss convention and that you've won 5, lost 0 and tied 2?

Yes, my record with the "Deadwood Drow" is 5 wins, 0 losses and 2 ties . . . (I live in California, so I do use the "American" system).
I should note, that I've played 7 different teams: one each of Amazon, Orc, Wood Elf, Skaven and three Humans (both of the ties). I've scored 12 TDs to 6 and been out-casualtied 5-8. Also, of course, remember that most of these players are as inexperienced as I am.
BTW, I also have a Dwarf team (Red Rock Ruskies) in the same League, they are now 6-1-1. They've outscored their opponents 14-4 and are ahead 16-7 in casualties. They have played 8 different players: two orcs, two humans, dark elf, high elf, norse (tie) and skaven (0-1 loss).
What I've noted is that I seem much better at defense than offense, but that I'm frustrated by the Dwarves lack of mobility. My next game should be with the Drow and I've got four players sitting at 5 SPP, so I hope to have some die rolling to do after the game.
By the way, starting with the 11 Line Elves, they (after 7 games) have the following number of SPP: 25,19,16,6,6,5,5,5,2,2 and one dead (tripped in open field while going for it, re-rolled and got another "1"; opponent rolled 11 for AV, 12 for Injury, 6 for Dead and my Apothecary rolled a "1" . . . and the player wasn't even going for the ball . . . *sheesh*.
Dark Elves can be a lot of fun and starting with a bunch of Line Elves means that you can get a lot of them SPPs and Skills pretty early instead of only using "position players" to do things.
Enjoy them. I do.
