Griff alternatives

Post by Kaiowas »

Im not a huge fan of any of the griff minis (chicken head is prob the best) and i dont truly like the alternatives that willy etc have sculpted and was trying to hunt out something to do a little bit of conversion on. Had a really deep look at fantasy compaines but everything either is too futuristic or comes with a huge cloak.

sniffed a few out on reaper

that might work,

anyone got any other ideas? just need a general human heroic pose with some body armour, i can hopefully sculpt, head swap, hand swap, weapon clip the rest

Check out RN Studio's humans, they'd make great Griffs!

I picked up this one hoping to use it for my 5th(?) edition GW humans... It's pretty big compared to them though. I was hoping to get away with it as the scale in that team is all over the place but it is literally twice the size of some of the catchers :/

I like the Heresy Miniatures Deathball Armoured Human Player for Griff. Even cheaper than usual at the moment, too.

I picked up this one as Griff and it does fit in nicely with its size with my (mostly) 3rd ed boxed humans.
