Hi Guys,
Well -- we played our first league game last night. I pushed a couple of his
players out & they were both casualties.
Do these count as casulties for the Blocking player in terms of SPPs?
Do they count as caualties for the team?

Thanks for that, I checked through the archives & found a poll the relates to this in there --- its just that I have been getting a few differnt answers from
guys that seem to be quite experienced.
Guess I will have to take 4 spps away from my Orcs ;-(
But, after being whipped 4-0 in a practice game, I managed to win 1-0 against the same team last night.

Seems the easiest way to rule IMO, if a player is injured playing your team you caused a CAS - after all who knocked him into the crowd.
I know that the rules are ambiguous at the moment but this is the way i'd like to see it go. For the most part you can just count up players in the injured box (+1 apoth maybe) unless you play an undead team.
I don't expect BB fans care how the Cas were caused either

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Yes, but we are ALL newbies --- & I am the commishBloodbasher Masher wrote:Be sure to check with your commish before removing those casualties. Our league plays that you do get SPP's for crowd casualties (house rule), and it sounds like yours does too.

We all use that spreadsheet thats on the 'net for our team rosters, it calculates the team casualties based on the total of the casualties caused by each player --- the ones that get the player SPPs.
Which is why I thought that the answers to both questions should be the same.
Anyway, I was thinking of allowing the blocker to make the block normally,
rolling for armour & then injury(if applicable) -- if he causes a casualty,
then he gets the SPPs, if not, the normal rules for being pushed out would
apply. (I saw this idea on a forum yesterday, but I cant remember which one) --- What do you guys think?

It's a sensible solution, and one that I've played with in a previous league. Of course you're free to do anything you want in your own league, but remember that the rules will work differently in tournaments, so if you change too much, you might encounter a few nasty surprises when playing new competition.
