Chaos pact team painted on commission at high game level!

Post by axia »

Hi guys! This time I present a big team painted on commission, a chaos pact one! I like the Gw models, I didn't even know their rarity and age and it was a pleasure to paint them, especially the ones in the second pic! However the most difficult part were the ogre and the minotaur, old fashioned heavy metal minis with some problems to assembly and casting, very fragile and difficult to paint. But here there is the result! I hope you like them! Comments and critics are welcome, I'm open to commissions! Cheers!

These are the latest GW Human team released (can't remember what edition). I have no idea where the big guys, Dark Elf, Skaven or Goblin are from though.

Awesome job as always. In particular I like the colour transition on your reds and the skin tones on the Minotaur and Ogre. What colours did you use?

Please tell me they took you a long time to paint. Lie if you have to! :D

BGs are Gaspez, skaven and goblin are Neomics, dark elf could be too but converted.

Nice, but I actually prefer the low level paint job on the Amazons....

For me this is one of your best... I really like the cohesiveness of all the models due to the color scheme and paint synergies....

The prancey, two-headed elf is perfect!

Thank you all guys! I confirm, the other nonn Gw minis are Gaspez ones!

@diggerman: thank you but it wasn't an easy task! I have to change some elements three times!

@darkson: because they have bright colours and that type of painting points to make the entire team to stand out on the battlefield! The aim of this level instead aims to characterize and exalt the single minis and you can see by the type of pics made! But don't worry not everyone likes the same things :D

@olaf_ sure! The mino has a base of scorched brown plus black, highlights with yellow, beige and white, shades with black and some light washes in red and green to give some colour variation! The ogre is all airbrush instead, with goblin green, highlights in yellow, beige and white in succession, shades with dark angels green and some red! Hope it helps! Cheers!

Wow! (and all the other things I usually say about your very lovely paintjobs.)

Especially love the blending on the three big guy's skins. Marvelous stuff!

Thank you Sargon for the review :D Yes the big guys, as always, have received extra layers of paint, in this case especially on the skin, since they are central pieces of the team :D
