favorite BB/FF troll

I do like my turncoat troll, however I have never been entirely happy with how it ends up looking.

Love that troll scratching his head, not seen him before!

The neomics troll has a great air of menace while not being silly big.

but I love the Death Wish Trolls from the back cover of Starplayers:

i love those "death wish" trolls! i've always wondered what were they based on?

do we know anything about them? that might be a good thing to "investagate"...maybe a TFF group project?

I think I've seen other pictures of them. Maybe they were in a White Dwarf. The nearest one is very close to a 'stock' citadel troll. The others had a lot more work done on them, I guess.

I did it a long time ago, and that's the closest I get:

The other one has much more work on him. I think that the body is from this troll:

with a lot of Greenstuff, of course...

And the head, with that big open eye, looks like the ones for the Stone Trolls:

However stone trolls didn't exist when these figures were made. So it can't be that head. The last one is this guy

The troll I would so have loved to used is one from the Privateer Press range for Hordes.



But this fierce guy is to effing big to be put on the pitch.

We had a local guy use this as his underworld troll. Looked amazing but was rather big.

I'm also a fan of the Turncoat Troll. Were you also responsible for getting the Troll with the top hat made? I like that one too. I think it makes a good match for the Turncoat Troll for some reason.

The 2nd edition Trolls (Crunchskull and the one already shown in this thread 3 times) will always hold a special place in my heart because of nostalgia.

I do like the Angry Troll from Hungry Troll miniatures, and no-one else has mentioned it so far.

I reckon this is the best troll miniature ever sculpted. The stupid look on his face, the long spindly limbs, the belly. Everything is just perfectly troll-ish.
