Universal Apothecary Suggestions

Post by BullBear »

I used to go full hog on team based sideline figures, but I'm in a different place these days and more interested in streamlining. So, I'm looking for a good mini/object that would be suitable to be used as an apothecary for any team.

Any ideas?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I have used a Kromlech "Orc Field Surgeon" with several teams just because the figure is so cool:

Malifaux. Also use this figure as IGOR, same company.

I used some stuff from my WHFB parts and got my apo, using it for all teams.

not to de rail the thread(well, i guess its still on topic), but our club decided to a man that we not use sideline staff.
as a group, we love bb/ff figures. but as we have a big club(15+coaches) and small game room(my basement or joes. only place we can all get togeather on saturday nights during a season), they just get in the way. they "crowd" the tight tables. they were always getting knocked over. and tbh, most of us would much rather buy players/teams. some members do buy some, but they just get in the way. club rules are:as long as you pay the cost, you don;t need the actual markers.
the only "staff" i buy, after all these years, is REFEREE models. i have about 20 ref figures, and just for fun and LULZ, we usually put one on the pitch.
i only wish there were good rules for them...
