Well, my favourite player was possible the most hated player my former opponents had to play against (just a sidekick to the other topic):

He is an old 2nd ed. Chaos Human Mutant (Lineman) named Nepomuk Niemalsruh (= Nepomuk Neverrest)

Over the years he got some nasty skills that made him a nasty lineman:
Tackle, Dirty Tackle, Jump Up, Strip Ball etc. but that was not the reason he was feared and hated by the other coaches:

He had two mutations:
Regeneration and Instability

I think he killed 5 player in 2 seasons!

For anyone not familliar with 2nd ed. skills/mutations
Reg.: you were allowed to roll the reg. roll at every touchdown until the injury/dead was healed
Instability: every turn roll a D6, on a 1 he teleports to a random adjacent square, if this occupied both players die.

Say no more! :o

I have met a number of the greatest icluding the original 'Quade' and 'dirty harry' here are some of my personla favourites:

From Nagashes naughty nephwes is my cool mummy with a total of 18spp
He has +1 MA and block making him one hard bag of bones.

But my best player ever went by the name 'Dirty Boza' and played for the Dody Dwarfs. He had a total of 63spp and as his name suggests he liked to hurt people. His had +1ST as well as frenzy, pro and of course dirty player. The dody dwarfs once had a whole dark elf team in the seriously injured and dead box!

Well, i have two fav players

the first was my high elf thrower who threw for 26 completions in his first 8 games, i know that isn't terribly difficult for elves if you put your mind to it, but i got attached to this guy as he also managed to scramble in some touchdowns and earn an MVP when he was badly hurt in a game with NO completions! rolling doubles to get strong arm on his second skill was also kinda handy

Phoenix Warrior 6 3 4 8 Pass, Accurate, Strong Arm, Safe Throw, Sure Hands

Second was my blitzer, purely for novilty value

Dragon Warrior 7 3 4 8 Block, Tackle, Strip Ball, Leap, Dodge 3 niggling injuries

This guy used to leap into the oppisitions cages and hit the ball carrier, and then bascially get crunched! this resulted in two of his 3 niggling injuries, the other was aging. he was also saved my my apoth on 4 seperate occasions. Just one of those players

My two favorite players are from my current Dark Elf team, the Darkside Dragons

Drizzt Do'Urden (I know I know) Blitzer 7 5 4 9
Block, +2 ST, Magic Helmet, Dodge

Was given the name initially, and grew into the role... Second most hated player in the league

Most hated player in league:

Matron Malice Witch Elf 7 3 4 7
Frenzy, Jump Up, Dodge, Block, Mighty Blow, Piling On

The infamous bouncing Witch Elf has caused 7 kills in 9 games inluding 3 Amazons in one game.

That's weird, I'd never give a piling on witch elf more than a few matches to live.

It's very annoying, it has got AV7 and it is very expensive; what do you do with that?

Witch Elves Rule

Post by Rogerg1979 »

You mean apart from aquiring a very good apothecary?

There tends to be too much going on for people to concentrate on her, she also has a tendancy to roam around the edges rather than in the thick of the action, meaning she tends to get fouled relatively infrequently.

Plus she's usually got some sort of body guard (with guard).

She's still the second top casualty scorer in our league (Tops being my minotaur)

I like my M9 human Blitzer doesn't have anything else but he sure was fun. I remember in 3rd edition when I managed to get a Wood Elf catcher with right stuff. Stopped Hathark then Unstoppable dead in his tracks when thrown at him. Managed to score 3 casualities before getting killed in a nasty accident sending him into the crowd...

My current favourite player is a Dark Elf blitzer.
He is 7458 Block, Dodge, Jump Up.

Its just so fun seeing my opponents trying their best to stop him, when he only jumps up after being knocked down, dodges away and score anyway.
I know he is not very good yet, but this is the player i currently have most fun playing with.
