Skaven storm vermin rolled a 5 5 - claw or + AV?

My storm vermin rolled a double 5 for its first skill.

It's FUMBBL's Black Box so it is rather bashy: should I choose claw for better offense, or push up the armour of a guy who is going to have a big target painted on his back sooner or later?...

I personally would go for the survivability and take AV9, since they are involved in blocking a lot.
But then I'm not really good at Blood Bowl and I also wouldn't miss out on a stat increase.

Better wait for some other opinions...

Claw,mighty blow or tackle dependent upon likely opponents.

Sounds like I would choose claw.

Claw. +AV is better than no +AV, but I'd just about never take it on anybody except an AV8 big guy. Why? Because... Claw! Claw as a double on Skaven lets you play removal against Orcs and other heavies, and adds another target for enemy removal. Take Mighty Blow next, even on a double or stat (except +ST), to follow with Piling On (might go Jump Up on doubles before Piling On, but only after MB).
