Double 6 advance roll on a Skaven Thrower?
Should I take the +1ST, or Strong Arm?
Thanks,
James

Big Hand might be an alternative as it's a hell of a skill on a thrower (Move into TZ-guarded ball square, 2+ Pickup, then a pass to a GR with all the help of the passing skills ... and TD is almost done).
I had a St+ Skaven Thrower once ... he's a good player and i used him alot on defence as a backroom gurad (back then pass on a blitz was possible, but on this team i also had a AG5 leap BigHand Gutter Runner for the situations mentioned above). Got niggled fast as ST+ makes him a target, does not protect him too well and AV7 doesn'T help much.
I'd vote for Big Hand ...

Gotta agree. Definitely take the ST4. He's relatively safe when he does have the ball anyway as most players will be 2 die your choice so they ain't going to like that at all. Or else they'll need 2 maybe three players if trying for a 2 die block against him anyway. Mutations I'd look at later but no way would I turn down an ST4 Skaven Thrower. But he will of course be one of the first players targetted for fouling. At least I would!

Thanks, folks. I guess I should have learned my lesson when I posted a few weeks ago asking about the same thing for a gutter runner. I will take the +1ST.
BTW, thanks to those of you who answered that first post. I took +1 ST on my gutter runner. He rolled a second double last week, so he is now:
9/3/4/7 w Dodge, Block, and HORNS!!! He has been waylaying people left and right.
The only player that my opponents hate worse is my (classic) one-turner, w Dodge, Block, Sprint, Sure Feet and VLL. There is currently a 100,000 GP bounty on his head as I am heading into the Dungeonbowl semi-final round
Thanks,
James
