hi!
if i multiple block two opponents and knock them over, i will roll one armour roll (correct/incorrect), but IMO two injury rolls (correct/incorrect) and two injuries (correct/iincorrect)...
when the player who carries the ball is knocked over, does the ball scatter from his initial position or the one he is pushed back to?
can a prone player with pass block use it?
is a prone (or stunned) player affected by a fireball (or lightning...)?
always? never? agility roll?
does foul appearance affect a HMP roll?
various questions

Welcome at TBB!
You have to roll EVERY dice (AV/Injury/Casualty) for every knocked down opponent seperate. Just treat them as they have been knocked over alone.elirresistiblo wrote:if i multiple block two opponents and knock them over, i will roll one armour roll (correct/incorrect), but IMO two injury rolls (correct/incorrect) and two injuries (correct/iincorrect)...
The ball always scatters from the square where the player is pushed to/ends up prone: First push, then knocked down, then scatterelirresistiblo wrote:when the player who carries the ball is knocked over, does the ball scatter from his initial position or the one he is pushed back to?
No, prone players do nothing and do not have Tackle Zones eitherelirresistiblo wrote:can a prone player with pass block use it?
There is no official answer for this, but I suggest no.elirresistiblo wrote:is a prone (or stunned) player affected by a fireball (or lightning...)?

HMP is never, ever affected by anything. No TZ, no FA etc. Just a 2+ roll. There are people who house-rule that TZ affect HMP, but if you go by the book no modifiers apply to HMPelirresistiblo wrote:does foul appearance affect a HMP roll?

Re: various questions
According to the rules, they're affected in exactly the same way as everybody else, which makes sense if you think about it.narkotic wrote:There is no official answer for this, but I suggest no.elirresistiblo wrote:is a prone (or stunned) player affected by a fireball (or lightning...)?

Wasn't there a discussion some time ago and half of the people said "yes" and the other half "no"???
Reading the rules are not that clear IMHO, it depends which sentence you attribute more decisional impact:
"Any model that is fully or partly undeneath the fireball template may be hit" = all get hit (standing and prone)
"Make dice rolls bla-bla to see if they get knocked over. Make armour rolls for any player that is knocked over" = no, because prone players are not knocked over by the fireball, they just happened to lay around. I think the "any player that is knocked over" refers to knocked over by the fireball and not is knocked over at some point of the previous turns.
But as I said opinions are divided upon this matter.
The "makes sense" argument is valid but I hesitate to let prone players make armour rolls due to balance of game mechanic (except fouls). I'd say it needs clarification, or explicit spelling what happens to prone players.
