Everything you need to manage your league
Hey guys! Just a reminder that if you're planning a league we've got 100% free league hosting facilities over at theendzone.co, including:
- total privacy control
- individual league phpbb forums
- a news wall and announcements
- a tables section, compatible with all existing league manager sites, obblm, mercuryvps or naf hosted leagues (or we can set you up with one for free too!)
- a leagues map, so that visitors to the site can find you!
- here's a demo! http://wbbl.theendzone.co
All that on top of a full featured social network site, with news, blogging, tournament listings and public forums. And all free!
Please take the time to have a look around - we're a relatively new startup but have big plans to add even more exciting functionality in the future and support this awesome game. Cheers!

This sounds interesting, would be nice to get website going for the interest generated by the new box set around Cardiff and Newport areas South Wales.
How do we sign up?

Re: Everything you need to manage your league
Sorry boys, power outage here (biq earthquake yesterday, major flooding today) but I'll post a step by step on the site as soon as I can get online with a PC again
Basically though, once you have an account, head to the groups page (theendzone.co/groups) and create a league using the wizard. That's it!
Its slightly more involved to get your obblm install comparable, but if you've got naf league hosting already then its simple as:
1) go to thenaf.obblm.com, use the menu admin -> league preferences
2) change the theme to 'iframe', and hit save. This will strip the banner put and other surrounds that would otherwise make the site look clunky in your new league page wrap. You may need to clear your browser cache for the change to take effect!
3) use the menu to navigate to your league home page (its really important you use the menu rather than the quick dropdown). Then copy the address from the browser bar.
4) go to your league page at theendzone and save the address you copied in step 3 as the league website and hit save. And you're done!
Let me know if you hit any issues. I'll post a step by step with screenshots here later... once I have electricity again!

Re: Everything you need to manage your league
Thanks man, we've had it really easy compared to many on the south island, where impassable terrain and land slips onto the highway have cut a whole town off. Obviously thoughts are with those guys, hopefully the worst has passed and assistance gets to them really soon.
Anyway, since I'm stuck up here, I've put together a guide to setting up leagues and plugging in an existing obblm install (such as your NAF hosted league site, if you have one!). Hopefully it's of some use and demonstrates how easy it is to make the switch across to theendzone!

Re: Everything you need to manage your league
Thanks man. Still is marvellous (I've from Wales myself ) - just a bit wobbly, is all. Kiwis are made of stern stuff though. And I'm sure you'll be made very welcome when you come back!
Thanks for checking out the link, hopefully you're able to win round your league! Don't forget to list your tournament too under the events page (it's a bit empty at the moment... all the NZ ones this year have finished! http://theendzone.co/events.html)

This sounds like it would be perfect for the NAF...

Re: Everything you need to manage your league
It's been developed independently from the NAF, but is designed to complement each other. Our efforts are focused on sorting the database at the moment, as there's some functionality we want to add and it's a tad clunky.
