Monthly Poll: Price for a 16 Figure (all positionals) team
It's monthly poll time. Last month, metal minis barely beat plastic minis as taster's choice.
This month a poll question from the mind of bouncergriim "...what you think a good price for a full team is 16 figures, all positionals and no big guys (lets assume big guys are easily purchased to fill roster as needed, but in the case of metal big guys add big cost quickly).". Thanks bouncergriim!
Edit, adding some additional criteria, since there were so many questions, let's assume:
Material: Plastic minis. (Or vote and post your preferred material in the comments)
Sculpts: Unique sculpts for positionals, some duplicates on linemen.
Quality: decent enough sculptor, meaning one you might like well enough, but maybe not the best sculptor in the world.
Postage: not included.
Scale: I'd say, whatever you prefer 28mm or 32mm. Else someone isn't going to be happy either way.

We might need a conversion guide for Pounds and Euros.
Not sure what the going rate is for models in US currency.

A lot depends on the quality of the team as well.
Are there individual sculpts for each miniature or do they use copies?
Are the sculpts easy enough to distinguish from each other?
What is the overall quality of the sculpt? I, for example, would be willing to pay a bit more for a team sculpted by Pedro Ramos than some other sculptor, whos style I don't like that much.
I don't see any point in clicking on any of these options.
My answer would be "depends on if I feel they're worth it"!

Which currency?
Is it LGS/webstore/kickstarter price?
Are we incl. postage?
What scale of models?
Unique poses or repeats?
Too few details to answer the question.

Add to your list - what material (plastic, metal, resin?) and what scale (28mm, 32mm?).

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Yea, I figured there might be a question about the currency. Unfortunately, have a sick toddler to take care of, and didn't get a chance to go add other currency notes at the time. Hopefully the edit helps. I also added some more criteria to the first post. If it still isn't clear enough, I can submit a different poll for this month.

I put $80, because I've happily paid that much for teams in the past. While I can't afford to do that as much as I'd like, I don't feel that it's a bad price (less than $6 per mini, after all).
If people start offering teams for less on a regular basis, so much the better!

What do you mean with "plastic"? Polystyrene? Some formula based in PVC? Machine cast resin? Brands throw the term "plastic" freely, while the glue and viable shape vary a lot.

I don't know all the different types of plastic, and manufacturers often aren't clear about what they are using. Let's say a hard plastic, similar to what GW is using on the current Blood Bowl models. Or if you don't like hard plastic, vote, and list your favorite type of material. Which is probably what I should have said in the first place.Steam Ball wrote:What do you mean with "plastic"? Polystyrene? Some formula based in PVC? Machine cast resin? Price isn't a big thing for me, these days, but that does'nt mean I will just buy anything.
I'm not digging these 32mm figures, so I have been getting teams/figures that are 28mm.
And metal, for the most part.
