Trait for a Chaos Dwarf

Post by Stebster »

i've just started with my chaos dwarf team, and i have rolled for one of my chaos dwarf blockers a trait for his first increase (double 3 so no stat increase)

i was first considering dodge, but what would everyone else advise???

Stand Firm, Frenzy, Dauntless, uh... there are a bunch of 'em that are good for the CDB. What would you like to develop?

Dodge or Stand Firm, either one will help on the line.

don't get dodge, take stand firm every time you get a double, though one with dauntless could come in handy as well

I have to lend a vote for Stand Firm also. Guard would be an excellent next choice for him. I hate those MFing Stand Firm, Guard guys. In a pinch, you can always try to dodge him in somewhere without fear of a turnover. Always good to have options like that.

Leader is also great for a CD. He's hard to take off the pitch, and your big guy will appreciate the reroll.

Yeah, i second that. On my chaos dwarf team, 3 of the little buggers have rolled a double so far. One was double 6, so i guess you know what i did with it. The other two have stand firm and leader.

Since getting leader, i've been able to use the troll/minotaur much more confidently and involve him in more situations.

nah standfirm isn't nearly as cool for CD's now that a failed dodge keeps you from moving where you were going. I used to do that a lot, get a guy with stand firm and guard, dodge into 5tzs, and then he guards on all of em. can't do that anymore.

I'd take dauntless. Chaos dwarves are a hitty team that's all st3. You need a good way to deal with guys who are more than that.

no i'll be using my other cdb's with guard (when they get it) for that, apart from the leader i don't like having one player with all of the 'hard hitting' responsibility-better a team effort

That's what I thought...

I'd either take dodge, or Stand Firm.

He chose Leader though, and I guess that's a wise choice as well, when confronted with a Big Guy
