2 very key questions :)

How can GW expect to attract new players if it took almost a year before new boards where printed?
And the mini's are insanely overpriced, I know it scared me away from playing 'till I had a steady income.

Just go for it. As long as you're all playing to the same rules, t doesn't matter. Just don't turn up at a GW evevt with it

For our 8 man league, due to a lak of pitches, we used 1 3rd ed., 1 2nd ed., and 2 1st ed pitches. Yes, they were al different sizes, but we knew about itbefore hand so didn't care.

That's what I've been doing lately! A lot of old WHFB Dwarfs are now Starplayers or Coaching Staff or just Drunken Fans for my BB team (which will soon consist of 50 minis...)
