I have been really getting into Bloodbowl lately. Main problem is people are more into mordheim and the new game to the store Warmachine. So getting games is a bit hard.
So with my opponents being limited i end up playing orcs a LOT. Actually its the only team i have played against so far.
I have found pounding down the enemy to be a very boring way to play.
I find that the running game to be my type of play.
Since i have loads of extra misc minis and wanted to get some more people into the game i put a few extra teams together.
Dark Elves
Humans
Orcs
Chaos Dwarfs
Lizardmen
Skaven
Chaos
Dark elves and Chaos Dwarfs were the armies i played in fantasy. Dark elves is the team i have been running so far, it seems to work well since i rarely loose a game (mainly because my opponents seem to ignore the ball) . I was wondering what might be a good team for me.
I mainly run the ball and don't pass the ball much.
Also i was thinking of having each person allowed to have more than one team. Reason #1 to allow me to try out different styles of play and #2 Play a team other than ORCS!
Dark Elves, Skaven, or Humans?

For a running game Lizardmen and Skaven are an obvious choice.
You can also try Chaos Dwarves, as the bull centaurs suit your style of play quite well.
You're not the first league that allow players to run multiple teams. is a good way, lacking a number of opponents, to test new teams. Just try to avoid playing against yourself
Cheers

Humans have a good running game. Throwers have sure hands to pick-up the ball, 0-4 catchers have dodge, catch & MA 8 to receive a hand-off/quick pass and run with the ball, 0-4 blitzers have block and access to strength stills to blitz holes in the defense. Humans are very flexible
