The problem with that tactic, is that the Woodies can still score with 6 players on the pitch, where as that becomes a REAL problem for teams like the Khemri...
Certainly, lose 1 Skelly for each lineman I take off, I dont mind, I've still got a viable offence (Where yours is losing at a steady rate - If we're still talking about rookie teams).
The BEST you're going to manage is 0-0 or 1-1, sitting on the ball for an entire half just doesn't allow anything else.
Oh yeah, people like Wardancers were designed for leaping into cages (not suicidally mind you), and can bring a big hole into your plans!

If I am trading player for player with Wood Elves I am going to outnumber them. Remember, my roster starts with 14 players.
As for rookie Wardancers, I think they are one of the most overrated players in the game. Sure, use Leap to get into my cage and to the ball. What next? Do you really want to depend on a 3+ Leap and a 5+ pick up roll, even if you have a team reroll left?
A rookie Elven offense is not easy to pull off without rerolls, and that is where most other races are capable of getting a leg up on Elves right away. At most, a Wood Elf team is going to start with 3, though most rosters go with 2.
At the rookie level, my Khemri are going to be more durable than your elves. Again, assuming a 1 for 1 trade off, I'm going to be conservative and say you get to start the second half with seven players. Not only do I still have my extra skeletons, but I'm likely to get half of the ones who went out of action back.
If you wanted to look for a hole in this Khemri roster, it would be their vulnerability to teams with a more balanced game. Against a pure bash roster, I can throw my skeletons at them all half and grind out a slow win. Against pure agility teams, I can muscle my way to a victory. Against a balanced roster, however, such as Amazons, Humans, and Lizardmen, they have the skills/muscle to hold me off at the line and force me to use my rerolls in the blocking game while having enough agility to pester my backfield Skeleton mob.

Since you will start in a league with advanced teams, maybe you should sacrifice some ff (and live off theirs) and get some more skeletons.
This is probably how i would start them. Dirty Player for the skels and Block for the Mummies (I don't think Piling On is really worth it with MA 3, better use the skeleton hit squads for take-outs). Fourth Mummy before Blitz-Ras.

Piling On is incredibly worth it when you're playing against other high strength teams. Player advantage quickly becomes a factor in those games, as team with more players on the pitch in a strength-fest usually wins.

Yikes. I didn't realize my math was so horribly, horribly wrong. I'm also amazed that no one pointed it out until now.

One problem with writing a strategy guide for the Khemri is that we don't know exactly what kind of roster will be coming out. I've seen Throw-Ra's with 2 and 3 AG, and Mummies with Piling On or Foul Appearance. Since the tactics you use with the team are going to change tremendously, I think we won't see someone invest a lot of time on putting together a strategy guide for experimental rosters until they become official.
