An alternative, non Fantasy battle fluff Beastman team

Got a great idea and/or proposal for BloodBowl?

Ok based on this roster:
Code:
Qty Position Mv St Ag Av Skills & Traits Cost Skills
0-12 Lineman 6 3 3 8 Horns 60,000 Gen, St, Phys
0-4 Blitzer 7 3 3 8 Horns, Sure Feet 90,000 Gen, St, Phys
0-2 Blocker 5 4 2 8 Horns, Thick Skull 100,000 Gen, St, Phys

Re-Rolls: 70,000

Big Guy: Minotaur
I've made a couple of examples up.

Example Beastman Team #1
11 man team

3x Beastmen Blitzers
2x Beastmen Blockers
6x Beastmen
2 Re-Rolls
3 Fan Factor

Example Beastman Team #2
12 man team

3x Beastmen Blitzers
1x Beastmen Blocker
8x Beastmen
2 Re-Rolls
1 Fan Factor

Example Beastman Team #3
11 man team

4x Beastmen Blitzers
2x Beastmen Blockers
5x Beastmen
1x Re-Roll
7x Fan Factor

Example Beastman Team #4
11 man team

3x Beastmen Blitzers
8x Beastmen
3x Re-Rolls
4x Fan Factor

I've not tried to wangle in a big guy as people tend to buy these later.

Some food for thought though.

In a long term league, I'd go for (and expect to lose the first few games...)

9 Lineman
2 Blitzer
3 Re-rolls
7 Fanfactor

Or only one blitzer, ten linemen, nine fan factor and 10k spare :)

Yep, got my vote.

Now, where can we test it?

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Bleh sadly don't run a league so can't help with that (well, still setting a PBeM league up with D.elves only..).

Now, where's Galak when you need him :D

Say Galak three times and he will appear

(That's my Theory at least)

Sorry to dig up an old thread but....

I want to use this team in my league this season and wondered if anyone has play tested it?

What about them?

Geno >> I haven't play tested them fully, gave them a wee shot against myself for a few games and they aren't anything spectacular, pretty balanced in all honesty.

Ithikir - Sounds good, a balanced team should make them playable. I can see them as quite a good running team, and with a few AG increases they should be able to pass the ball around a bit as well.

And Centigors? Why would you have them in a Beastman team? I know they're in the Beasts of Chaos WFB army, but these are 2 different worlds. Blood Bowl is not WFB. If you did have them, how would you present them on pitch?
