**UPDATE** Thank you to everyone who made it along. It was an amazing day! Congrats to Borilla for 1st place! Ginjasy got 2nd. Most casualties went to Ginjasy, most touchdowns to Blackduke. Mintybiscuit won the stunty cup and Bryan Beasley got the coveted and hotly fought after wooden spoon!

Thanks to you all, the event helped raise £6281 for Cots for Tots, which is a massive amount itself, but it has also pushed out total raised over all our marathons to £30k!!! A massive thank you from all of us at the 24hr board game marathon for helping achieve this!!

The Cots for Tots Blood Bowl Tournament is back at the 24hr boardgame marathon for a third year! We've helped raise nearly £23000 for Cots for Tots and we're going to raise even more this year!

As with previous years there'll be a 3 round Blood Bowl tournament over the course of the day.

The info is all contained in the rulespack attached to this
announcement, but here's a quick summary:
  • Held on Saturday 3rd August 2024
  • 3 games of 2020 rules Blood Bowl
  • Swiss style, resurrection format tournament
  • Tickets cost £12
  • Venue is The Shrubbery Hotel, Station Road, Ilminster, Somerset, TA19 9AR
  • Doors open 9am, Round 1 starts at 10am
  • 1.15M roster budget with tiered skill budgets
Due to space, this will be limited to 24 participants.(Edit: upped from 20 due to demand)I know there was some spacing issues last year but we've got guaranteed spaces in the new Marquee this year.

To purchase a ticket you will need to buy a 12hr Ticket for the Board Game Marathon from their Website. Once you have purchased a Ticket please let me know so I can mark you as paid. Tickets are purchased here: 24hr Boardgame Marathon Tickets

Prizes to be confirmed but we have 3 sets of block dice from Serious Swag, Rule Book Tabs from Rule Book Tabs A GW team (Choice of from Atomic Comics and Games in Yeovil), a 3d printed team (The Punga Frozen Ravagers, including support staff), a Pitch, and trophies.

On such short notice, I'm not looking to make it naf sanctioned. It's less than 8 weeks away and it conflicts with Thrudball. I just used the same pack that Simon had for last year as that worked quite well.
