Back in the TBBF Da Maggot Scum have now ended up with three very gross Goblin players, this is what happens when they survive. :smoking:

Zippy Hands 7336 Block, Catch, Leap, Diving Tackle, Sidestep, Dodge

Shaky Smarts 7247 Sidestep, Accurate, Diving Tackle, Surefeet, Sprint, Dodge

Flying Git 7447 Sidestep, Surehand, Dodge (need one more)

Now if only they'd stop literially getting "I am the Greatest" all the bloody time and they could win a few more games! Hey they're better than elven crap. :smoking:

Eek... 1MA, 2S, 1AG, one double and one normal. How many goblins have you developed before getting this one?

Blood Bowl game - $60
Cost of a Human Team - $40
The look on your opponents face as his one-turn scorer gets taken down by a thrown rock from the fans – Priceless.

Mutations don't abound on my skaven team, but stat increases on the other hand....

a gutter runner on steroids:

thrr'ii'gg Gutter Runner 9 4 3 7 Dodge, +ST, +ST (-ag), Block, Pass Block 13 TD 3 mvp 54 spp

His brother, "god":

thrr'ii'wss Gutter Runner 8 2 5 7 Dodge, +AG, Block, Dauntless, Horns, Strip Ball (-ma) 2 comp 21 TD 4 cas 2 Mvp 83 spp

and his nephew the thrower:

Gtt'iiit Thrower 9 4 4 6 Pass, Sure Hands, +AG, +MA, +MA, +ST, Strong Arm -av, n 29 Comp 2 TD 5 cas 8 mvp 85 spp

some of the increases came later, which explains some sub-par skill choices, but still. pretty, ain't they? Wish the apoth hadn't failed when the thrown rock gave Gtt'iit the niggle

My favorite would have to be my old dwarf longbeard from the first league I played in... kept playing him because he was determined to make the team! Reminded me of Rudy...

Darribel Thunderforge: 4 3 1 9 Block, Tackle, Thick Skull 5niggles -AG 1 Casualty for a whopping 2 SPP after 24 games.

The guy was off the field 90% of the time, and it seemed every time he set foot on the field he would get pounded into the ground again. I know that retiring him would have been smart, but he was just so cool.... you gotta feel bad for the little guys. :(

Regarding the Flying Git, the 7447 Surehands, Sidestep Goblin...

Actually he's one of the original players of the team, which has now pulled almost 70 games. Though he was a "late" developer. He started with Surehands for the first skill, as I needed someone who could get the damn ball without blowing rerolls. And then things got wierd. +1 St. next, so he
ended up in a lot of drives, then +Ag. and then the NEXT +1 St. (I was hoping for a double, well it was a double...) Everyone convinced me that a Str. 4 Goblins would be devestating, and he has been. This meant he got Sidestep quickly and his latest was now a Move +1.

I find he's the ultimate Cage smasher, and giving him the ball as a "Goto gob" has payed off a lot. Though he does merit a LOT of unhealthy attention on the team from opponents, he's good at making sure that a lot of other players are starting to get skills...well at least LIVING a while to get skills.

Best use is on defence, TTM down the field and Blitzing the ball-carrier who THOUGHT he was safe at Two-Dice my call. :smoking: :smoking:

My favorite player is dead!

Post by BadMrMojo »

Grappa, my beloved Lion Warrior died a few matches back after 38 games and 129 SPPs.

8 3 4 7 Catch, Block, Dodge, Leap, Nerves of Steel, Passblock, Sidestep

He had an uncanny knack of actually making leap rolls. I guess the trick was the 3+ instead of the 2+... Anyway, he'd run deep every kickoff and get mobbed, but if he stayed standing (a decent chance, even vs a tackler), he could catch on a 2+ with a RR and leap away to score.

No injuries, no aging, no problems until a ghoul with 2 SPPs hit him with a 1 die block and killed him. No apothecary left.

Insult to injury: He was raised as a zombie and is still playing in FUMBBL. The horror.

The new star of the team is Kahlua, my Phoenix Warrior.

6 3 4 7 Pass, Dodge, Strong Arm, Accurate, Sure Hands, Safe Throw (-av on aging)

102 SPPs: 87 comp and 3 MVPs. The -av scares me every time he gets hit, but I can usually keep him back a bit for safety's sake.

{edit: changed leap numbers since Darkson pointed out my mistake. Oops. That's what I meant. }

Um, Leaps on an unmodified AG roll, so he'd sucessfully leap on a 3+, and fail on a 1 or 2.

My favourite player is a tree! 8)

Groenborken he's called and he's got ST 7, MA 3 and Block.
He scares the hell out of many opponents (unjustified IMO, but nice to see a crowd around him meaning my woodies may move around freely).
I even try to avoid casualities with him, he's just too good to niggle by means of ageing.

Favourite Player:

Skelk (an Ogre)

Standard Ogre but with the added skills of Break Tackle, Guard and a +1 AG increase.

However what made him a real legend is he is the only dude in any team I've ever had to make an interception....AN OGRE!!!

What's more it came in the Chaos Cup final intercepting a pass from a superhuman Dark Elf thrower with pratically every throwing skills imaginable. Class.

Currently my star blitzer, for my Dark Elf Team, Last Chancers on fumbbl.com.

Krell
Dark Elf Blitzer

68 SPP, no injuries, (as yet)

Played a total of 18 games, has racked in 6 comps, 15 td's, 5 Cas, 1 mvp and an interception.

I rarely play my skaven team, but I have to give my most favorite player award to:

Skintz the Impaler

8 3 3 8 Block, Tackle, Piling On, Razor Sharp Fangs, Pro, Niggling

Virtually every time he made a block someone was carried off the pitch (back when you could PRO injury and armour rolls) and with M 8 he had the legs to get where he needed to go.

I guess I should add Womanslayer in here, eh guys? :P

Well, not my FAVOURITE player...but my best killing machine...

Womanslayer, Chaos Beastman
6/3/2/8 Horns, Block, Tackle, Dauntless, Piling On, Razor Sharp Claws, (-AG). Aged -AG on his fifth skill. Not like he ever Dodges.

"What? You're standing next to me? Sweet!" *pile on*

This guy killed an ST4 Wardancer, a Thrower, and an AG5 Lineelf one game...before the END OF THE FIRST HALF. He also -AV'd the Wardancer before that, which was Apoth'd. Insane.

Also on the same team...

Yggdrasil, Chaos Warrior
6/4/4/9 +MA, +AG, Block, Pass, (Niggle). Niggled on his third skill...AG4 Chaos Warriors with Pass are hilarious.

Kilthgar the Black, Chaos Warrior
6/4/4/9 +MA, +AG, Block. Yes...two 6/4/4/9 Chaos Warriors on the same team. Heh. Roster players #1 and #2, in fact. :D

Also, TROGDOR, the infamously bad Beastman...15 games to get his first skill, and at 29 he managed to get his second thanks to an MVP. :D I hate Trogdor. :pissed:
