a friend of mine has a problem with his runners and this is the complete roster:
Thorbardin´s blue shields

7 longb

4 guard
1 guard stand firm
2 rookie

troll slayers

Ouch. Niggling injuries on 3 of the 3AG players for a Dwarf team is very tough to deal with. A friend of mine actually has the same problem, and I believe it cost him a tournament when two of them missed a quarterfinal game. Replace the nigglers as soon as you can, and don't worry too much about the consequences. His Longbeards will gain more experience in these games, and he'll eventually be a stronger team because of it.

He needs to replace the runners, 1 at a time starting with the less useful. Since the dwarves only get 2 of any position niggles on them are particularly dangerous.

Vault = putting in a 4 barrel Holley because the spark plugs need gapping.
