Skill #2 on a Stormvermin

Post by coldsteel »

OK, I gave a Stormvermin Piling On for his first skill. It looks like he'll be getting a second skill after the game I'm in (he's popping Ogres left and right), so...

Double = RSC

non-double = Mighty Blow

Sound good to you guys? :smoking:

Depends... do you have many elves or amazons in your league? If so, what about Tackle?

There are only a certain number of ways to say GUARD.

Probably been playing Dwarfs too long, but with SV being the only players who can normally take it on the Skaven Roster its very tempting.

(RSC on doubles is good though)

Guard is a good choice, but I'd be tempted by tackle and then go War Dancer hunting.

yeah, they can get Guard, but I'm looking at making him my CAS producer. I do plan on giving my other SV Guard first, then Tackle. I just want that INJ bonus... :-)

see the problem is that guard is usually the skill for the guy that helps with all the hits...the SV is the guy who usually DOES all the hits. now i'm not saying that there aren't times when the SV couldnt use guard, just not as many as you might at first think.

If I were starting a skaven team right now I'd go Guard then Tackle on my SV. Doubles would be a difficult one, but I'd be tempted by Claw.
