Multiple Block! ARGH! how does it work?
ARGH Im stupid! how does it work game technical?
Can it be combined with dauntless? like 2xst3 player=counts as single st6?
Please tell me, and give some situations, and please how can i be combined with other skills?
I can't see the great thing about this skill? it seems that one player can block more players at a time, but needs assist to be effective.
Please help, i must be stupid.

The above may help with some of the confusion. MB is not a top flight skill, but it does work well with Dauntless.

Code: Select all
_12_
_AMB
M = multiple blocker (S5)
A & B = attackers
So M blocks 1&2 using his multiple block skill their combined S is 6, his is 5. "A" cannot assist as he is next to a player other than the 1 he is assisting against. "B" can assist.
If the multiple blocker had dauntless he could roll for that against the combined S of the players he is blocking (Dauntless, Horns, Multiple Block beastman anyone?)
The jury is still out on whether multiple blockers can use MB, Piling On etc on both defenders should they get knocked over.

why can A not assist?
As i see, when using MultiBlock, you see the mulitple defenders as a single defender, an you the attacker don't block a single model (ie.nr.2), both both at the same time, treating them as a single model, therefor A can assist IMO, he is not in any tackle zones of an opponent who not being blocked.
And is it confirmed at dauntless works this way with miltiple block?

Uh uh. I thought this got officially answered last year, but I'll put it back on the list.Agentrock wrote:Yes, you'd roll your Dautless versus the ST of 6 to see how many block dice you'll get to use.
And you are right, "A" does assist in the MB.
In order to give an offensive assist, you must be in the TZ of only ONE of the players being blocked by Multiple Block. You cannot assist if you are in the TZ of both players.
I'll put it back on the Hot List for official clarification, but trust me on this one. A cannot assist.

Damn, need to look at the graphics before I place a post...I meant to say "B" can assist. I was thinking "A" was on the right...GalakStarscraper wrote:I'll put it back on the Hot List for official clarification, but trust me on this one. A cannot assist.

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.

Multiple block is the skill/trait which spawns the most questions/problems concerning ruling.
We have cleared out a few things in our rules section here: http://www.arosbb.dk/default.asp?p=ru#46

What about if A has Guard, can he be in both TZ ??GalakStarscraper wrote:Uh uh. I thought this got officially answered last year, but I'll put it back on the list.Agentrock wrote:Yes, you'd roll your Dautless versus the ST of 6 to see how many block dice you'll get to use.

I'd say "yes" in this case...since you can assist even if you are in any tackle zones. Galak's clarification came into play since 'A' was standing in two different tackle zones...which normally you wouldn't get an assist unless you had Guard.
