Female Elf Teams

Having been a Dark Elf Player I would have to say that all the female Dark Elves and the Witch Elves (in princple) would come out on the night of blood and hunt you down and bathe in your blood for giving them a lower armour value. In Fantasy Battle female DEs have routinely fought in regiments with the males with no drop in toughness or anything. And they are just as strong. They wear the same armour, fight the same fight etc. So there is no reason for and many reasons "fluff-wise" against a AV and/or a ST decrease for just a female player on the team roster.
Witch elves do have a lower AV (and Armour save in FB)in BB because they pretty much don't wear any armour, or anything else for that matter.
Be careful of giving DEs 4 Witch Elves, that will be very close to if not outright broken.

I don't know about female HEs and WEs, cuz I don't play those inferior races.

But I don't think that you have to change the stats for female players. I am actually in progress of converting a all famale DE team that I am going to play with the DE roster as is.

Concerning fluff;

All elves are frail under the new rules. It the latest change they've given all elves Toughness of 3. Even heroes have this average number. In the army book they say that both female and male fight in mix units. So there is no reason to change the stats.

Dwarves have a no-women fight rule, exception do exist. There was a supplement which had a female thane figurine which had the same stats as her male counterparts. The dwarves are a paternal group, so I'd think they wouldn't allow their women to partake in BB.

Humans would have the same stats. And Brettonians wouldn't even allow their women to play!

I use the male and female players, its all the same, they all die equally fast.
