Break Tackle + RR/Dodge

Post by Orin »

Hi,

It says in the book that you can only use Break Tackle once per turn (per player). So if a Bull Centaur has Break Tackle but fails and uses a RR or uses the Dodge skill, can he still use Break Tackle (as it is still the same dodge action) or does his dodge roll drop from a 2+ to a 4+ after he has failed the first using Break Tackle?

If you use a RR all modifications that applied to the original roll (regardless if positive or negative) still apply to the re-roll. The situation does not change, it's just a second try.

But if you successfully used break tackle, then move on and have to dodge a second time, you are not allowed to use break tackle anymore in that turn.

But, as we all know, Bull Centaurs never need to use it more than once, being so good at what they do !
