Leader Reroll in Overtime
I have a question regarding the Leader reroll and if the team gets a new leader reroll at the start of OT. I checked the LRB2.0 and it says "Having such a player in the team allows the coach to take a Leader Re-roll counter at the start of the match and at halftime and place it on the reroll track along with his team reroll counters."
I know that my MBBL2 opponent used all of his rerolls in the 2nd half and I noted that we would each start sudden death with no rerolls, which should make it very exciting. However, I didn't notice that when he setup he added a leader reroll. Unfortunately, the use of the leader reroll was the key to his success this turn. I just want to make sure we play this right. Thanks for your help with this.

he cheated you (or whatever else you might want to call it)
Leader re-rolls are treated like TRR in the sense that they are available like TRRs, so no TRR in overtime = no Leader-RRs.
In the sense of usage they are different, though (you can use LRR for big guys for example)
When your friend has difficulties to accept this, tell him that over-time is not half-time.

Looks like it counts in PBEM (at least in MBBL2). According to an email from Galak on January 14th, 2003, if the tool gives it to you then it you can use it. I'd still like to know how the BBRC would rule on that one, or at least change the LRB wording to include overtime. Oh well, Da Squig Humpaz are going to lose their first of this season....

any unused rrs from the 2nd half may be used in OT, but you don't get any NEW ones. so if the guy used his leader rr in the 2nd half he doesn't get it again in OT.

I think that you are taking Galak's email out of context.
The 'tool' didn't give him the re-roll, he gave it to himself. He just simply right-clicked on the re-roll counter to add one.
If he used all his rerolls before OT, then thats it...but according to the LRB, any unused rerolls do carry over to OT.
I would question Galak on it, though I know he is currently on vacation.
