Regarding Juggenaut for use against Block players or Mighty Blow, here are my numbers:

Assuming 2 Die Blocks and Frenzy (it is a WE, after all) Juggernaut would be used on 11.8% of all turns.

Assuming 2 Die Blocks, Frenzy, and my opponent having Block but no guard, Mighty Blow is used 18.3% of the time vs. AV7, 14.0% of the time vs. AV 8, and 10.2% of the time vs. AV 9.

I judge those as roughly equal with a slight edge to Mighty Blow. However, I think I'll be making more hits overall than attempts at sideline pushes with her... so more utility in Mighty Blow.

If Wrestle or Fend or Stand Firm is in the league, it's a whole other story...

I am the lucky owner of a witch with Block, MightyBlow, AND Juggernaut, and she is fairly awesome. :)

I would say MightyBlow gets my vote, it was the first I picked of the two, and gets used more. Juggernaut is great for getting around those pesky both down's on the sidelines though, so you really can't go WRONG with either. :)

A witch elf lying prone (for any reason) makes opponents laugh. :(

Fouling aint that strong in Lrb 5, and you can put players besides her so she is hard to get to. Piling on, Frenzy, Mb is around the best cas machine you can get in Lrb5 and darkelves are good at playing the numbers.

Worth remembering that the Juggernaut one should say Blitz is required.

Another nudge towards MB.

Hmm.. that is too bad, that Juggernaught doesn`t count for the 2nd frenzy block like horns do...

MB is the best option for witches in my opinion. Next skill is tackle or PO on doubles (and then tackle). 2nd witch would then get juggernaught for doubles.

I don't see that written into the rule. Why wouldn't Juggernaut be good on the second throw?

But I'd still give her MB first. I think it's more useful overall. Then if you get lucky on her next skill and throw another set of doubles, Juggernaut would definately be worth taking.

Juggernaut is allowed on the 2nd block of a Blitz action.

Piling On is extremely tempting AFTER Mighty Blow, but I'd never choose it before Mighty Blow.

As others have said, Juggernaut affects the 2nd block too. That at least is the intent of the rule.

I'm curious as to why you'd think different. Are the rules unclear in some way?
