Start with 2 vamps, 5 rerolls. I find a good rule of thumb is to have twice as many rerolls as starting vamps until you get Pro.

2 vamps, 5 RR, and 2 FF? Or did you mean 2 vamps and 4 RR with 9FF?

you could go 5RR, 7FF, and no apo... but I *really* wouldnt recommend starting a vamp team without one 8)

i would untill your thralls start to get skilled up

id proobably start with 3 vamps i took 4 to the bb last year and found that was too many but think 2 are too few

In LRB4 I would always take the apo. In LRB5 I'm not sure... being able to use the apo on the vamps would be nice, but if you simply rely on regen then I would let the thralls go a while without the apo. With journeymen, the team doesnt have need for permanent thralls until they get skilled so yes, in that case I'd feel comfortable frontloading more vamps.
