Horns + Dauntless, what comes first?
So, our resident Chaos player (and MAP) has a beastman, who comes with horns. He has given him Dauntless and now has a 2 dice Blitz on any big guy by himself. My question is, when does dauntless come in as regards this.
We are using the sequence of:
Declare Blitz Roll Dauntless whilst making the Block part and then add +1 Str.
As no one else is using any Horns players (yet) We were wondering if this is the correct route.

LRB5 - Horns first, then Dauntless.
LRB4 and earlier (including original 3rd ed BB) - Dauntless first, then Horns.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Still a valid combination though, horns will make the dauntless roll easier.Stout Youngblood wrote:Yep, stated right in the description for Dauntless on page 65 LRB 5:Darkson wrote:LRB5 - Horns first, then Dauntless.

And useful for when the horns cannot be used (i.e. on a block action or a blitz where the move is after the hit.Daefaroth wrote:Still a valid combination though, horns will make the dauntless roll easier.Stout Youngblood wrote:Yep, stated right in the description for Dauntless on page 65 LRB 5:Darkson wrote:LRB5 - Horns first, then Dauntless.

Thanks for the replies. After putting up this post we re read the skill description and also decided on that way around. But then our resident Chaos player hit us with yet another variant upon this. "So if i blitz with a horned player I am now str 4 yeah?"
"Yes" we replied
"So this one with break tackle can dodge on a 2 right!"
